sixteen.

rain touching rain
.

watching the rain hit the sidewalk.
splatter and multiply and settle.
seeping into the rubble of concrete
attempting to soften its hardness.

rolling slowly, maneuvering through
the cleansed cracked crevices in sight.
comforting the constanly walked on
concrete. letting it know, it cares.

rain touching rain touching concrete.
to ease the pain. to release the pain.
to teach and love then to evaporate.

until they meet again.
